English Day

Theme: Little Voices, Big Values

English Day is one of the most exciting events of the school year, designed to create a fun and immersive English learning experience for all students. With the theme “Little Voices, Big Values”, students will explore important values while strengthening their English skills. The day features a range of engaging activities such as an English musical, booth games, reading and writing tasks, and craft-making. Students from different levels take part in activities tailored to their learning needs, making the day both meaningful and enjoyable. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to use English in creative ways and build confidence in a lively, supportive environment.

English Room activities

Every Thursday lunchtime, the English Room comes alive with fun and engaging activities designed to help students enjoy using English in a relaxed setting. Each week, a different grade level takes turns to join, giving everyone a chance to participate. From games and storytelling to crafts and mini challenges, these sessions encourage students to practise speaking and listening in English while having fun with their friends. It’s a great way to build confidence and make English learning an enjoyable part of school life!

A visit to RTHK

Four of our English Ambassadors had a unique opportunity to visit RTHK Radio 3 and take part in the recording of the English programme In the Common Room. During the visit, they joined the host in a lively discussion about Christmas traditions, and got a behind-the-scenes look at how radio programmes are produced. From exploring the studio to learning about sound engineering and production, it was an eye-opening experience that deepened their appreciation for the world of broadcasting.
